It is a milestone birthday to me because I am a Dragon (in many, many ways, not just Chinese zodiac) and this is a Dragon year. It is otherwise still an extremely auspicious life and calendar year for me ... and so far, I feel it has been so, not the least because the MANATEES ARE THE BESTEST EVER!!! Happy Birthday - I was born in the year of the Dragon - it's a good one! For a moment there I had to think, though ... I knew you weren't born in '76 and that you'd had Artemis a bit later but I still can't believe you're the Dragon generation in front of me. What a youthful lady you are. haha no not a child of the 70's sadly! Thanks for saying I'm youthful! Some days I feel it some days I dont - today I do
got my bib number for Cairns Ironman 70.3 - if you have nothing to do on June 3rd (probably 2nd in other hemispheres!) track me down - i'll be out the back....smiling, laughing, sweating and high fiving every person I come across!

Somehow pet hair ended up covering our Unity tour uniforms and we didn't even get6 the uniforms until we were in Richmond, no car and no pets I swear it's is everywhere... |

Coastal Carolina | Subject: RE: Yanti & Salty MAD MANATEES Mentor Group - FULL POD Thank you all for the well wishes for my FIL and all the inspires and well wishes on the Tour, you guys truly ROCK. Apparently he is going in for a cardiac catherization tomorrow which will point out the likely offender, renal, heart or lung, that is causing the issue, DW flew out tonight. It is risky at this point because his heart is working really hard and only producing a little of what it should. Most likely caused by the pnemonia he has had for the last few months, stubborn man refused to go see a doc about a cough that kept him from laying down (not pointing fingers I'm the same way just trying to remember not to be stubborn), and has caused fluid to be in his lungs. But with his heart not contracting as strongly as it should it could send him into a funky beat, but doc says it is only thing to be done and DW concurrs. Plus side is that it will decide exactly what the issue is and they will be able to fix it.
Swimming will take a back seat since I am only one to get home to slammer this week but that is definitely for the best as the shoulder is becoming more of a constant throb than an occasional pain. I'm pretty sure I just sprained it so heat and rest for it. Hopefully good to go for sunday.
I will definitely keep track of our future HIM finisher! |

I will definitely keep track of our future HIM finisher! Do you know what time he will be going in? Please keep us updated. I don't think I officially congratulated you on an amazing Unity Tour, but here is the superstar bike chain congrats: I think if you look closely, you might even see dog hair in that |

Veteran 478 Hoosier heartland | Subject: RE: Yanti & Salty MAD MANATEES Mentor Group - FULL POD Jo I'm so exited for you. I will be checking your progress on June 3. My HIM is a week later...gulp. Prayers to your FIL Kirk. Hope everything turns out o.k. {{kiwi press}} I tried to run my 5 miles yesterday and couldn't!!! There is something wrong with the outside of my ankle on my left foot. I'm worried. I can walk without pain, but when I run, that's when I feel the pain. I'm going to lay off the running (BOO) and swim and bike until I feel I can run. I just don't know when I can. Iceing the area and taking ibuprofen is what I'm going to do and just pray I can get some run time in before my HIM. Question: Say I lay off the running for a week, what should my volume be to ease back into the running? I know I can't follow the run part of my plan right now, but I don't want to overdo it when I start running again. My HIM is June 10. Oh btw, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY MISS YANTI. I hope you able to relax and do something special for yourself. |

Master 9705 Raleigh, NC area | Subject: RE: Yanti & Salty MAD MANATEES Mentor Group - FULL POD Tripopo - 2012-05-15 2:39 PM So I'm back from the trip, had a great time overall, but now dealing with family issues. My shoulder hurts like a dickens from the ride, it was sore along the trapezus muscle but then caused some burning pain while helping my parents out with some stuff and is just painful at this point so easy on the swimming me thinks this week will try tomorrow I think.
Need Manatee thoughts and prayers for my Wife's father who is in the hospital, he had a cough for over 6 months that he never got checked out and was recently diagnosed with walking pnemonia which my wife didn't think sounded right, always trust nurses. It wasn't he got winded walking to the mailbox and then got real sick sunday night and they took him to the hospital where they diagnosed him with congestive heart failure. My wife just called and asked me to research flights to Cleveland, there is news but not sure what- she is leaving work early to head up there. Zen for your father-in-law and for your shoulder. Take care! |
