Not in quite as good shape as the season opener at oceanside, but not bad. Not really following a plan. Question is how far to run tomorrow. I have 2 ten milers in the last three weeks but that is as long as I've gone. Have a few 6s and 7s. It's gonna be hot. Sooooooooo..... Try to get another 10 or 11 miler in? Or go 6ish and start taper? One week out I would probably prefer a 6 or 7miler at or a bit faster than race pace but I think this is very much personal preference rather than "this is better" I would say whatever you recover best from and whatever will help build confidence. |
