Thanks!  I really like it.

I will say though, it friggin HURT!  I didnt flinch during it, because the whole time the guy was doing it he kept talking about how incredible it was what we accomplished and how 'tough' we must be.  I didnt want to burst his illusion of how tough  we 'IRONMEN'  are, but I got in the car afterwards and looked at my wife and screamed OOOOOUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCHHHHHH!

triathlonfun - 2009-11-15 5:41 PM I'll definitely do another one.  I wish I was already signed up for a different race next year.  I did the Community Fund slot this year which is expensive.  It was such an amazing experience though.  Unfortunately, I missed all the BT get togethers down there so maybe next time.

I got my tattoo last night and plan to add a symbol for each Ironman I do.

M Dot Tattoo

Love the 3d look!

I too fell victim to the corporate logo! No frills all red M-dot. Got mine on Wednesday 11/11.  I will be getting a second tat on the ribs to commerate the distance 140.6 with the SBR characters, but that will come later.

Anyone know if there is a way to get the video coverage of the finish line?
I'd love to see my finish

I am so bummed about that - would it really take that much extra effort??? No DVD, no finishing line video. I haven't gotten inked yet but plan on doing so soon. Love the ones posted already! My husband threw me a HUGE surprise IM party on Sat. night! I was floored and had the best time ever! Felt almost as bad waking up on this past Sunday as I did the day after the race.

I just got mine yesterday.  It is my first (and will be my only) tattoo, so it took me a while to finally decide to go for it!

Doesn't some company sell it to you?  They did last year...can't remember the name though.  I believe it was $15 for a one minute clip with 55" of overall race highlights and then 5" of you crossing the finish line....

I'm really liking it!  The sun coming up over the water is really cool.  I'm trying to decide what I want mine to look like (see below for some examples).  Looking for a little feedback...

Awesome!  Mine was my first and most likely only, although I learned a long time ago to never say never!

Does anyone know a way to download or 'save as' that video file.  In the past, many of the video links like that, you can save target as and download the file... write to a dvd and have your own copy to show.  I Couldn't get it to work from either site (IM or IMFL).

If a more versed computer guru is among us and can get it done, please let us know.  It's a decent video and I saw a few people I know in the video... that was kinda cool.

I would also like to know if anyone finds a way to download it or if you are able to buy a DVD of it, since I was lucky enough to be in it crossing the finish line.

Thanks for the video link. I got a plain orange mdot above my ankle. 1st and only ink. (I think) Is anyone else having a hard time getting back into work and not checking this board? I feel I should be training and thinking imfl. Have a great Thanksgiving. We do have a great deal to be thankful for. Finishing IMFL with all the suport we had, awesome.

Someone, somewhere has to have this.  I know Ironman has it and I don't understand why they won't give it/sell it to us.  We probably need to broaden our net in our search.  Please let me know if you find it!

If I receive an "educational" copy I will be more than happy to "share" this with the group.  With all the video capturing software on the market today someone must have this - HELLO ANYONE ?
