Just to clarify, b/c I think 'Stix was a bit offended. I don't think that ALL church has bad teachings re: sexytimes. Mine does a good job with that stuff, even if they manage to wiggle in "no premarital sex" into EVERY sermon. But from what I've heard so far, they don't teach anything that isn't true. But I do know some girls (not all, but some) who've come from various churches and backgrounds who got a lot of bad information. Going to church doesn't necessarily mean that you're messed up re: sexytimes. And there are plenty of folks who don't go to church who ARE messed up re: sexytimes. My point to Kraut was "don't let the church do all the teaching" - it's a parent's job too, to teach their kids about this stuff.

Which is why I don't go to church. I don't need someone I don't know making me feel bad because I want to go have the sexytimes. In fact I don't need someone making me feel bad about myself for doing anything I want to do. I should have enough brains and common sense to know when I'm doing something bad and, ergo, not do it. Seriously, murder and rape and stealing and such are bad things. Premarital sex, in my opine, is not a bad thing.

Hey! I'm not talking religion. I'm just sayin' ... ain't nobody gonna judge what's right and wrong. People's minds are weird and we all are raised in different houses and under different morals and beliefs so one person's ``right'' might be another person's ``wrong.'' Still, some things are universal. Like killing someone and making their face into a lampshade is fundamentally wrong. Fun and kinda artsy fartsy in a nerdy creative way, but wrong.
