We have a place in Keystone we go to every year. My in-laws condo. Last year a truck lost its breaks and went off the Dillon ramp at about 80 going through cars into the ditch. There is another sign right before that that is even more bizarre, but I didn't catch it on film. Next time. I just kept thinking, "did I read that right? Can they say those things on road signs?" I'm going for a drive.... |

I have 4 right now. And I'm pretty sure I'm done for the day. I'm a Nuke ... I could probably get a requisition for about 75 filled out in triplicate, but there's probably some regulation against it unless you know somebody who knows somebody.  |

Speaking of Top Gun -- the makers of that movie were pure genius. Why? Well let's think about this. We have airplanes, nay, fighter jets lauching off the top of a boat. That's frickin' cool and any guy who says it isn't might have to trade in his man card. Then you've got the hot guys in Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer. The aforementioned vball scene. Add in an only-moderately-attractive woman in Kelly McGillis and you've got the ladies saying `I could totally steal him from her' so you have not only the men wanting to see it for the fighter-jet scenes but also the women wanting to see if for the volleyball scenes. Genius. |
