Almost did it a couple of weekends ago, then I stopped. MISSCULLEN - flavor of CHOICE!!!! please..... I need a response ASAP. I will not be able to continue my day without it..... I prefer acai berry, strawberry, or green tea flavored (maybe mango too) smoothie with bubbles..... I like those fat straws too... What the hell is bubble tea.....I have never heard of it? Elixir of the gods ... with a dessert in it! Also known as boba tea ... it is sweet cold tea/juice, sometimes with milk, that has these yummy round little gummy things in it, soft on the outside, denser in the middle, delightfully chewy. O holy night...I didn't see THAT in the Wiki def. (See, Schwamm, I will learn one of these days to use that FIRST...=) That sounds...barfalicious. Au contraire, mon frere. Sweet drink like necter with little chewy treasures.... i'm pretty sure Kiley's not your brother. Side note: mmmmm tapioca Edited by TheSchwamm 2008-05-06 3:45 PM |

Actually, 2 of the little mixing straws. It's just kinda my thing Sometimes I drink a captain and coke with a straw... so I can mix it, and I don't drink it as fast. The drinking method of choice for me when indulging in Jameson on the rocks with 4 lemons... mmmmmmmmmm Only time I use a straw is while driving and drinking out of a cup. Oh yeah - and when in the hospital. To avoid spillage on the frontage. |

Davenport, IA | Subject: RE: TAN 24: TANgerine Speedo.. [rant]I hate the people in our call center and purchasing department sometimes. Every time I have to find out how long it will take for us to get some product in for my customers I have to call and ask. These people then are supposed to call and talk to the purchasers (who won't take my calls or return messages either) and get back to us (sales). But what happens? 7 hours later still no call back, I call, the answer is "oh yeah I forgot to call him about that ---HE'S IN THE NEXT CUBICLE OVER!. Then 2 hours later I call again, and get "he still hasn't called me back." Then I decide to blow off work for the rest of the day because I'm too wound up to go talk to another customer and go swimming instead. [/rant] |

[/rant] And to think I am trying to come up with an excuse not to swim today Well, it's actually a process of elimination thing. Sunday I went for a long bicycle ride because I wanted to. Yesterday I went for a run to burn off my frustration. That only leaves swimming for today. Otherwise it's back to drinking and one of the reasons I started all this training was to stop drinking and find a healthier outlet for my frustration/anger. |

Which is why I'm not talking about it further. One last thought on this... If this site is one of the sources of information for that stuff, then you need to maybe consider going somewhere they are not. Because what you're doing is unhealthy. I was referring to my issues, not BT. They're totally separate. But yeah, I look at other blogs here and when I'm feeling down I get feeling pretty darned inadequate. It is really hard for me to look at this - something that I work very hard at it - as being fun when I see people with much, much better numbers. Its simply hard to accept that this is the body I have and the genetics I have and training can only do so much with it. I know a lot of this is mental, and again, I'm not in a crappy mood today, just musing. I know part of this is not getting enough sleep last night. preaching to the choir my friend... I'm not made for this. That's why I enjoy the challenge even more.... To prove that I can do it..... |

[/rant] As a purchaser... it can be frustrating with everyone asking "When are we gonna get this?" However... there's no excuse for them forgetting. I understand that, which is why I don't call very often, unless I have someone who wants to order a large number of unusual items. In this case about 100 tires for field-spraying wagons. That's about 20,000 of sales for me (which makes for a slightly better day), if everyone drags their feet I don't get the sale. They don't forget either, unfortunately a lot of the guys with the jobs in purchasing and inside sales are family of the owners of the company, so if it's nice they get to go golf. |
