Thanks Mel!

Here is a great glute exercise http://www.shapefit.com/butt-exercises-glute-kickbacks.html If you follow the links there's a bunch of other exercises too, and most of them can be done at home with no equipment. Hope this helps

Wow, quiet night here! If I weren't in the midst of moving I'd certainly be here padding the thread.

I did a trainer ride today, but it doesn't count toward my goals so I did some ab work too. My back has been achy, I'm hoping the ab stuff will counteract it. I spent 11.5 hours at my new apartment painting, spackling, removing caulk, re-caulking, scraping off old paint, installing fixtures and cleaning. I am beat! This was my longest day yet, and I even did some packing before I left.

Hope everyone had a great day!

Morning team

I just finished my morning run, it was nice with a little snow falling. But that snow over the ice was not as fun ... it was really slippy.

What is everyone up to today?

Have a great day, Go Grit Go

I had a nice run today. I can't imagine running in snow. You folks in the north are awesome. I  whine in the summer when it is hot and humid, too!!

Hey team, my goals are on hold until my move is at least semi-complete. I had hoped for a swim or run today but the movers bumped up the time several hours so I'm in full packing mode. Even though I'll have way more time in the second half of the month, I likely won't make the 30% cut off

Morning everyone

I just finished my morning run, well winter is here for sure. It was like minus 10F with the wind today ...

What is everyone up to today?

We all have to kick it up a notch because this is the cutoff week, 30% or we're out.  I will personally raise two of my goals I guess since I am about to hit 50% in two of them. I will think about it for the next couple of days.

Have a great one everyone!

Go Grit Go!!!

Morning all.

Today is bike day. There is a lot going on but lunch break looks promising.

Krisitn, happy Moving day, we all understand.

I have a question. There is no way for me to be at 30 % until Monday for swimming. I can only swim on Sunday and Monday (the place is closed on Saturday- who knew?).  So, since I won't be at 30% for that sport, will I be dropped?

That's a slugger question. I'll be at 30% for running, and may make it for my strength goal, but i'll only be around 25% for swimming due to my move. There's just no way I can spare hours to go to the pool. I wonder if we get dropped from the whole challenge or just from that goal? Anyone know for sure?

BTW Slugger, when you stop by, how do you want us to handle the changes for our goals for the month? Only edit the spreadsheet, post here, send you a PM?

Thank you in advance

Hey gang! I've actually been giving a lot of thought to the cutoff. I think I'm going to drop it entirely. I like cutoffs because they weed out the people who are no longer doing the challenge. But with the nature of a lot of people's goals, as you guys pointed out, you just might not be at 30%. Also, I didn't expect so many people to have so many goals when I first set up the challenge.

So I'm going to take a look at the spreadsheets on Sunday after the second week is done and see if there is any obvious pattern. If there is someone not participating at all, I'll likely drop them. But as long as you are participating, I want everyone to keep chipping away at their goals. As I said before, I don't really care what percentage you get done, I want to see people really challenging themselves to grind through their workouts during good times and bad.

Robert, let me know in some form if you are upping your goals, either on here or in a PM. Raising the bar is a big part of what I look at in the standings, so I definitely want to know what's going on.

Does that answer everyone's question? Lemme know what you think. I'll post this in the other threads, too, to see what they think there.

Okie, I will do so. I will probably send you a PM and post here too. I am waiting after the week end because I am heading out of town and I don't know if the hotel as a pool or not neither for the gym. So I might just run this week end.
