I actually went for an ocean swim with a fellow BTer who was visiting from Seattle--it was tres fun! Sounds like fun (aside from the fact that would surely send me into panic attack ) Okay, tell me, how was it. Remember, I am living vicariously through you. My open water was frozen and my pooch ran over the top today (very biblical of her). Walking-on-water pooch! See, my doggie will never do that It was brilliant. Such a beautiful day, and the water was warmer than expected. Very comfy in a wetsuit. We swam by a pelican, and it was completely undisturbed by us. There were the HOTTEST BOYS running around the beach and playing volleyball shirtless. Yummage. |

Champion 7931 Sequim, Washington | Subject: RE: Nibbs XXXVI geauxtri - 2009-01-17 5:04 PM I have had short hair for years. I really don't like it on the back of my neck. It is so thin that when it was long a pony tail looked more like a rat tail.mchally - 2009-01-17 5:57 PM geauxtri - 2009-01-17 4:51 PM mchally - 2009-01-17 5:45 PM geauxtri - 2009-01-17 4:20 PM Hi NIbbs!!! Hope everyone is having an enjoyable/productive weekend I made it to swim this morning, then took 2yo for haircut, then took him to watch big bro at Karate, took rental tv back (big screen should be fixed by Tues), then took 5yo for haircut. I am getting my hair cut in half an hour-I have not been able to tame it lately.
Wish I had advice for ya there... but everyone in our family has fine straight hair... I actually use Mallow Root sometimes to try and get a little lift. My sister (OTOH) has curly frizzy hair... that woman does 30 minutes major conditioning treatments once a month to keep it under control. I do use a hair masque in the shower once a week to help with the pool chemicals. It leaves my hair REALLY soft and smells like mango My hair is very fine as well. It has a bit of natural 'body' and, like me in general, is very stubborn. Another factor in my hair issues is the remaining damage from my Father's Day BBQ Incident. It turns out that that big wall of flames you get when the gas has been running a while is a great way to instantly get a new hair style and change you hair type. I wasn't very happy about the experience, fortunately I am good at seeing the humor in life and by the next day I found it quite funny. The biggest bummer is that I had just splurged on my hair for a birthday treat-Nearly $200 worth of splurging. Okay just did a memory refresher and checked out the photos in your albums. So have you had the short hairstyle for a while, or was that result of the grill? You might want to try that hair masque I was talking about if you're still encountering the dry hair issue from the burn. It's made by Beyond the Zone and is LastCall Hair Masque (wonder if that's where Beth got her username ) I get it at Sally's Beauty Supply. That REALLY sucks about the BBQ. I once singed my bangs over a candle on accident. |

Cook it in the crock pot, serve over rice.mchally - 2009-01-17 7:01 PM I also bought a big ol' pot roast for tomorrow afternoon/evening. So yummy-I slather it in pesto and add all sorts of other goodies. Yum I bought a big pork shoulder last night and hunted down some food network recipes to make it. Paula Deen has an easy one: marinead i in oil salt and pepper x 24 hrs then cook. I like easy However...I think that one may be too easy. I may look again at Emeril's recipe. It is easy and very yummy. |
