Thanks, guys ... I really do appreciate it. We all know how it feels ... and I swing wildly between deep depression and homicidal tendencies.

Don't worry, I won't actually kill the guy, 'cause you know who would be suspect #1 ... actually, the way he's been conducting himself, I might be suspect #5 or #6 even.

What's up Crowny?

Nursing a sore left foot.  Popped blister that is now raw.  But I knew that would happen going into last weekend.

Interestingly enough, I ran into a guy in Sullivan who is a ref at the QC tri.  He is the water temperature taker.  Nice guy.  Said he knew John.

Then it sounds like he isn't worth wasting the energy on.  Life is too short to have people like that in your life.  Be happy with who you are and what you have and know that there are lots of people out there (and in here) that care for you.  Deeply.

Thank you...I just wish the bloody tears would stop, sometime. Too much in one week, and I'm stable-ish but not HUGELY stable right now, so these are particularly bad blows.

And he's been conducting himself without protection, so I really have a LOT to worry about

I had a blister pop that I've been trying to get to heal for a few days.  Apparently it had been around long enough for the skin under it to toughed up.

Cool about the ref, I don't even want to think of what the water temp is right now, though.  And John seems to keep himself pretty busy between officiating and racing.

Things do seem to come in bunches, don't they? All you can do, though, is take one thing at a time... Worry about this moment now. Worry about the next once you get there.

I"m sorry to hear it Yanti, but I can completely empathize.  I would love to be the first to cause  bodily harm to my ex husband, but I don't think I could get past my dad and brothers before they finished the job for me. I know it sucks; hang in there.

'ello all, happy Tuesday.

Ignore it and ignore him.  He is trying to goad you into a response.  Don't.  It serves no purpose.

^^^Agree completely.  He's just looking to get a rise out of you.  Ignoring someone can be one of the strongest tools you've got in a situation like this.

Thanks for the advice. I'm heeding it. I don't know what to do with myself. There's a good support group I can go to that's a 1/2 hour bike away ... but i haven't slept and i'm very shaky. I'm afraid to take the bus. Should I go or just stay here and try to keep myself busy with BT and whatever else i can try to find to get through the day.

No kidding my dad has connections even here ...

Probably not the best time to point out that the only three guys to ever betray me are no longer alive.

Poor things. Seriously, all accidents ... had  nothing to do with it.

I'm gonna go  at least try to bike to group ...

If i don't make it there at least I got outside.

Thanks, all.

You're right. Peace is a good way to go.

Got all geared up and headed out on my bike but just couldn't do it. I'm not safe to bike right now and there are other people on the road to be concerned about.

Did Cake Boy dump you?

Tell me where he is and I'll um, take care of him.

(nothing like a frame pump in the spokes at 20+ mph. See "Breaking Away" ).

Nah ... he just "let" me find out about the other relationships (not just dalliances) he's been carrying on ... so effectively yes that's the meanest way to get rid of me.
