Hi team, I got 1100 yds last night at the pool.  I hope I can get in 5 miles tonight but a winter storm is closing in on NC.  I am going to Guatemala next week and may be kind of MIA, but will try to get my logs on.

I am behind on the run, but that does not concern me as I will be able to run a lot in the next couple of weeks

Cheers, enjoy your holidays and training!!  Let's win this one!

I had a holiday party that ran late last night, so no workout this morning.  And I'm taking a 1/2 day at work to cram in some Christmas shopping.  The weatherman is calling for 6-12" of snow starting tonight and ending Sunday morning. That much snow pretty much cripples this entire region.  I'll get on the trainer this weekend and I'm well on my way to achieving my 110% goal (and hopefully even exceeding that).

Have a great weekend Elves!

Spin class + run (6.4k) this morning.Gonna get the run total easy. Strength, should be OK, but not my "fun" activity. Got to fit it between the fun stuff.Keep going everyone.PS. How is everyone looking at the holidays, for training? Time off...lots of time to do it? No time due to family, entertaining committments, etc.I am hoping to get a little extra, but you never know?!

My grown kids showed up at the house last night so we'll be going family xmas shopping tonight rather than swimming -- I'll make up the swim over the weekend.  And get another ride in to get extra credit (hint hint ashort33!).

Went to bed earlier last night  so i could get a ride in  today (before work) to Hit 50% of goal one .    And just reached the  2000 miles plateau  this year on the bike , by far my highest total .   Not surprisingly my bike splits have improved in races .  Also improved is less soreness after races .

Happy Friday .

I had a good hard swim this morning. I'm right at 50% I will make my goals even if I have to do all of my biking inside (I might lose my sanity but I'll make my goal)

I did another roller session; 135 miles biked so far in December, but all inside. I can feel my sanity slipping away as the miles add up!

Roads are still all iced up here so still 1 session behind on my cycling. Going for a run tomorrow morning and, if the sun comes out, will try and get that elusive bike ride in tomorrow afternoon.

Hey team. Sorry I've been MIA for a while. We've been having some major internet connection issues at home, work has been a zoo so I haven't been able to update there, and I've been sick for a while now.

The good news is that I've been able to get back into my running shoes and my cough-of-death is finally starting to abate a bit. I've updated my training logs with what the little I was able to get done this week, and when I adjust my goals for illness I have no doubt I'll be right back on track.

Take care everyone, and have a very nice weekend!

It was soooo beautiful out today.  Super warm, too!  Got a nice 25 mile bike ride done outside.  Long run tomorrow.

The weather has sucked for the last two days here. Got a short ride in on the trainer. I couldn't go any longer out of pure boredom.

Got a run in today in the rather picturesque snow covered park. If the weather stays the way it is now, I'll be able to get back out on my bike tomorrow and keep on track with my goals!

I usually watch DVDs. Yesterday I watched Jimmy Stewart in Shenandoah. Managed to do 30 miles! That's about my limit for indoors.

apparently 6 hours a week of swim/bike/run is not that helpful with shoveling fitness. Oy!
