The wife and I like Smash.  Granted, more her than me.  I probably wouldn't watch it if she didn't, but I like it.  I also like some of the songs.  The "main" one was kind of catchy...

But the main producer lady?  Um, kind of hard on the eyes.

I shall not be adding any further British dialect to my watching pallet until I rid myself of the kids cartoons that all seem to have British accents... Octonauts, Peppa Pig, Charlie and Lola, etc etc...

You mean Angelica Houston?  I agree - she's pretty severe looking in this show. 

I like most of the songs, but it almost seems like the writers of the TV show are throwing songs into the script to get out of writing dialogue.  I guess I didn't realize that the TV show itself was going to be a musical, not just that it's ABOUT a musical. 

So far Tony's stayed away from it - but I lof it!  There's a whole thread about it in COJ if you want to add your thoughts about all the various plots and cast members.   

I saw that but am going to avoid checking it out until we're caught up.  We're only a few episodes into season 1 right now.  Nice thing about starting late, we can watch a bunch over a short period of time.

HURRY UP!!!   The nice thing is that with only 7-8 episodes per season it shouldn't take too much time to get caught up to the rest of us.

Poor Jim, has to ride with his movie-star wife from Los Angeles to Vegas.  What car are you driving for that trip anyway?

haven't you heard?  it's global warming.  72 degrees here today.   (granted, VA is not the snowy north, but i have it on good authority that it is over 60 in Pittsburgh)

Just wait MEH - we had the 75-degree day Tuesday, then it snowed yesterday. FUN!

we had a full-on snowstorm last friday, and flurries on the forecast for this friday.

weather is a little manic lately, but i'm glad to be able to run outside in a tank and shorts!

Of course it could be worse.  But come one.  5 hours in the car compared to a 50 minute flight?  Of course if I can keep her from driving alone, I will do it.  But I don't have to do back flips about it.

I'm beyond hoping that we avoid going straight from rain to below freezing temperatures too quickly resulting in a sheet of ice over everything, because that's happening no matter what . . . I'm just keeping my finger crossed that I get to my car tonight before it happens; otherwise it will be frozen shut.  Anyone have a good fix for that?

For your car freezing shut? Get that De-Icer stuff in a can. Works great.
