Ok...here is the list of hats available.  I do have one request if you get a hat.  Put $5 in some kind of donation bin for the Holidays.  Wether it's buying the food bank boxes at the grocery store, buying a homeless person lunch or putting a $5 in the Salvation Army bell ringers can.  I know BTers will do the right thing.  Paying it forward!!

Those that have PM'd me already, let me know which one.  and G-Moose, my wife claimed the reindeer hat unbeknownst to me.  Sorry!!

Mesh/Headsweats hats:

White with GU Sports on back and GU Energy Gel on front

White with Ecco logo

White with  rising star over water logo on front

White with Sock Guy logo on front (this one is loved, but still a great hat)

White with Team Aquaphor Active on front (former sponsor)

White with USA flag on front.  Stitching is somewhat not done on the words Patriots Tri

Black with the Colorado Running Company on front

Black with White Stripes for 2007 Shamrock Half Mary (This is a finishers hat, FYI)  This matters to some people

White with green stripes for 2006 Shamrock Half Mary (finishers Hat)

White with Hammerhead Olympic Triathlon logo on front.

White with Zoot sports on front in blue

"Normal" hats:

White with Runner Girl logo on front

Pinkish with Life is Good on brim and smiling person on front.

PM on the GU hat- but not super picky.  I heard salvation army is 12-30% low on donations by region, so my $5 will go there.

Swbkrun- I never heard back from you about the tri suit, despite several pm's.  I was thinking of giving it to my sister for christmas.  It's fine if you gave it to someone else- but could you just pm me.  I know my inbox/outbox was acting all weird, so maybe you never got my pm's.

Thanks!

Hello

I am not begging but I was wondering if anyone has a pair of used/new trithalon shoes in size US 9. I only ask because I bought a pair off of someone on ebay and never received them and now I am fighting for my 61 dollars back. I figured I would post something hoping maybe someone got a new pair for the holidays.

If anyone has some luck send me a PM.
Thanks
Happy Holidays

Chris

Dan is a great guys people, if you get a hat from him, follow through your end of the deal. Bad Karma points suck...

Thanks Dan, I'm a huge supporter to the Salvation Army in Indiana, as well as the Red Cross chapter in Louisville. I just donated a BUNCH of (computer) network gear to them (Cisco 6513s if you are a geek). I'm not trying to brag, just showing there are additional ways to help out charities. The network equipment was probably overkill for what they needed, but we had them in their boxes, and had a nice thick layer of dust on top of them. Plus, they took up space in my datacenter and wanted them to go away anyways.

If someone is looking for a place for donations, please be sure to support the Red Cross and the Salvation Army. Both are very respectable organizations. Additionally, National Public Radio is always running their fund raising drives sometime late fall, though I am not sure if it has already happened or not. If you listen to NPR, be sure to support them as well.

Dan, you are the giveaway man - that's great!  I hope everyone puts in their donations

Just another observation, if you are posting items to give away, please follow through on the offer!  Let's keep this in the spirit of the thread, and do some nice stuff on here.

Additionally, it's Holiday season. It may be a nice thing to send a Holiday card to someone you got something from, or sent something to. It's a simple thing to do and costs you about $0.50 with the card/postage/everything.

luv2flyjrn - 2007-12-07 10:06 PM auto208562, I am sad to say we think that HRM is starting to die. The numbers are no longer coming in clearly (just parts of them, even with new batteries). But the great news is my friend using the HRM has lost 40pounds this year! Here is a picture of him doing his first Half Marathon.

Bummer about the HRM, but it had a good, long life and it helped a few people along the way.

Got the speedo today -- thanks SuzanneS!

I have a pair of lightly used women's medium pearl izumi bike shorts with 6" inseam.  They're in great shape.   They don't fit my thighs anymore; I've heard their stuff runs small.

As a former Marine, I make a personal donation to that cause every year. With all of the other things that those guys have to worry about (especially right now) they attack that as hard as Marines attack anything. Go give them something to make someone's Christmas.

I have a brand new Black Fuel Belt, size small. I bought 2 of them on clearance, a small and a medium- the medium fits me better This one has only 2 water bottles with it but they have never been used.

I'll be glad to send it off to anyone who is interested. Please PM me.
