Can you do ball pits? I hear there is plenty of room at Chuck E Cheese when they first open.

I've been looking to borrow someone's kid so I can go there.

I was going to stick around to see the end of this TAN - or whatever we are calling it - but I can't do it - way too busy.

Ew. Children should be sent to a faraway island until they're 18.

Think of it as training for your infection resistance.  Good for you in the long run, sucks in the short term.

My kids are at an age where I LOVE to take them to Chuck E. Cheese.

PGCG and I order a pizza and beer and give the kids a carp load of tokens.  When they're out of tokens and we're out of beer, we leave.  When you have little kids is sucks because you have to follow them around and make sure they don't get hurt.

I'm not worried about them getting hurt, but taken by some creepy pedophile (like there are actually non-creepy pedophiles).

I can't stand the local Chuck E Cheese. Any given night there will be 100 kids and 10 adults. Ain't no way every parent there brought ten kids. There are kids climbing inside machines, mugging each other for tokens... I saw one pair of kids jimmying a skeeball machine open for tickets. With a little crowbar. Right in the open.

I stopped taking the kids when last time I had to stand right next to my (then) 5 year old at every momnent because there were a couple of older kids shoving smaller ones down and taking their tokens away.

So do you ever find that 18 beers later you're thinking `Where the heck are my kids?' only to find they're stuck in the ballpit?

Oh, and because my older son jumped in the ball pit and came out screaming "it's full of messy diapers! There's poop all over the bottom!"

I just got the annual work program for the State's Part II research program dropped on my desk. Its a frickin' 4" binder. They want an answer back by June 20. I'm laughing right now, they're dumping all of this stuff during peak work load time.

Should I call the whaaaaaa-mbulance?
