Birthday is Nov. 20...will be 33.

I will have to get back with you on the goals.  Really, the main thing is to just survive the month...like Tif said.  It is going to be crazy for us, but I am sure we can get through it.

Also, I would like to find a way to make new bikes happen...this has been a conversation on more than once in our house lately.

There were plans for Vegas but I am wondering if that will happen.  Most of this crazy training revolves around that damn 40 number.

Ah, that will be me next year.  Let me know how it goes.   I'll be celebrating on the golopous islands with a large group of friends though (just worked out that way), and training for an Ironman, so I predict a good year.

July 6 - going to be 31

I'm with Kel - 30 hasn't been so bad.  The worst thing has been the faster peeps to contend with at tris!  30-35 year olds are no slackers!

I'm kinda like everyone else on the goals - survive the month of March!  I have something going on every weekend in March (two of those weekends being other weddings to attend)!  And of course there's that kinda important date fast approaching for me!  4/10/10

On our wedding day I was 31 and Ken was 29 - craddle robber that I am!

My 30's were AWESOME!  Got married and had 3 babies, just doesn't get any better than that!  Except the 40's which have been good to me so far though it's been less than a year I am blessed!

You are all *babes* in every sense of the word.  Jan 10.  Not fessing up to the year, but I'm closer to 50 than 40.  What can I say, I spent my 20's and 30's as a party girl.  Decided to get fit and discover my inner athelete in my 40s.

Tea?  Did you know they made chocolate flavoured tea?  I kid you not.  Course it doesn't taste like chocolate but it's not bad.

Em, you can do it!!!!  Just walk away.  I did 3 years ago.  I had a Diet Coke habit that had reached a 6 pack per day.  You will feel so much better without all that carbonated, artificial sweetner stuff.  Carbonation should be reserved for beer and champagne.  If you really need caffeine, try tea.

Thanks!! I did it in High School and felt so much better without all the unhealthy sugar and sweetners that are in it. Unfortunately college and all-nighters came along and ruined my no soda policy. I think I'm gonna try tea... I don't think I've ever drank tea.

Ohhhh coffeeeee.  I'm the biggest coffee w.hore on the planet.  I love it way more than chocolate.

I also like that I'm not the youngest one in the group anymore.

Happy hump day everyone.

Well as of today I am no longer a Clyde. The past week or so I have been around 202-203lbs, but after my ride today and after lunch (Oatmeal with 2 tbls of Peanut butter and 20 ounces of water) I weighed in at 199.00!!!!! I know after dinner I will be above 200 again but I haven't seen this on a scale since I was 19, and I'm currently 36.

A little over 2 years ago I was 268lbs (may have been higher), last May when I started riding and running I was about 230lbs.

This makes placing 3rd last Sunday all that more special...... it will be my last race as a Clyde.

As a reward......One Ice Cold Shiner.

March goals:  1) work less; 2) get out on the bike more; 3) masters swim at least 1 time per week.
Longterm goal: improve diet.

Birthday:  On September 18--one day before Branson 70.3--I'll turn 46.  This assumes, of course, that I don't die of old age between now and then.
