kkcbelle - 2011-05-29 5:42 PM Wow!!! Congratulations to Sam, Drew, and Roni! And yeah, curious how the Sharkies and Sports Beans worked out for that triathlete! Awesomeness all around!!!

I believe the nutrition plan went well.  He ate his beans before the race and the sharkies on the run.  Although he had a slow run so maybe he spent more time eating than running.  LOL  He wanted to take the Sharkies w/ him on the bike and stuff them under his helmet.  Daddy vetoed that idea.

Sharkies don't run, they swim.  Congrats to Drew and some proud parents!

Congrats on your AG win, Sam!

Well here she is I went with the Cannondale Slice 5. Picked her up on Saturday hopefully try to get in a short ride on Monday if the Wind is down below 40mph.

Hi gang - back from the race.  Somehow I managed to win my AG even though I am way out of bike shape.  Boy am I tired but I have new motivation to get my butt on my bike and log some miles.

Fun day - well run race and the best part of the day was watching Drew do his race.  Improvement on the swim, strong bike and a good run although he needs a little work there.  Somehow he came across the finish line with a leaf in his hand.  Not sure where he got that from.  LOL  But he had fun and is looking forward to his next race.  We'll post some pics a bit later.

I hope everyone is having a nice weekend.

Great job Sam....we want Details!  Give Drew a high five for me!

Awesome Job Roni....when is WI on that list?

Hi gang - still working on the race report.  Probably tomorrow AM when I don't have housework calling my name.  But these are some cute pics I thought I'd post.

Not sure where that leaf has been.  But he ate his sharkies.

Congrats on your AG win Sam!  I love the pics of Drew.  Sounds like he's hooked.

Congrats Roni!

Tried out my wetsuit Saturday.  I need LOTS more practice getting it on but felt pretty good swimming.  Then yesterday I became a "runner".  Thankful for the poison ivy free zone.

Uploading Drew's T1 and T2 for your amusement, should be done in a few.

He rode the bike with shoes on the wrong foot, we asked him about it afterwards he said he did it on purpose because it hurt his feet and made him want to ride faster to get back to transition so he could fix it...

Sounds like everybody has had a busy weekend!  Congrats, Sam on the awesome AG win, and congrats to Drew for being such an awesome little triathlete!  Love the pics!

Roni, you totally rock!  Love the marathon in every state thing.  I would love to come watch one, since you'll be doing so many!

Bryce, that bike looks FAST!  I'm jealous.  Let us know how her maiden voyage goes!

I'm LOVING our new place so far.  There's a nice multi-purpose trail right next to it that I checked out today.  Mad props to Nadie, who managed to rollerblade 3 miles with me in this 80 degree weather!  I also went out for a short ride to see how I felt outside, and I realize how much I love biking outdoors.  I forgot though how hard it is to unclip.  No falls today, but I'm sure there are many to come!

Happy Memorial Day, all!

Congrats, Sam!  AG winner = impressive!  Love the pictures - especially the leaf!!  Videos were hilarious, we are SO those parents!!

Would really like to see video of the dog rollerblading.....

Party went great last night.  114 people showed, plus some kids I didn't know.  The keg remained well monitored (Anchor Steam); don't think anybody underage got too close.  Went through 18 bottles of wine, most of the keg and 30 liters of soda.  The chocolate fountain was a MESSY hit....and the kids are picking at it for breakfast.

So many of the adults at the party have been our friends since we met as Kinder parents 13 years ago....so amazing to have gone though all of this together.  Great memories.  The kids are going all over the country in the fall.....Stanford, Duke, Air Force Academy, Brown, Columbia, Auburn, Texas, Cal,  Seattle......plus lots of SoCal schools.

Last couple of parties to go to today, some final clean-up around here - then it's officially 2 down, one to go.  WOW.

Here's a link to pictures from the graduation....since I still can't for the life of me figure out posting:

You guys could have helped him set up his bike a little better so that his pedal wasn't blocking the kickstand!  LOL
