You guys, sorry I haven't been in touch and inspiring and posting and such. I still don't have Internet at my new place (that darn DSL package had better arrive TODAY) and work is just crazy, and I now also sit with my computer in eyeshot of my SVP and the rest of my team, so I am trying to limit my BT time at work. I hope to catch up with all of you over the weekend, and then get back to regular blogging after that .

wurkit_gurl - 2007-12-05 11:43 AM Sorry to interject, but can someone PLEASE explain to me WHY THE HELL three inches of snow turns all of Northern Virginia into one big traffic jam??? I am leaving work early tonight whether they like it or not so that I do not have to sit for 3 hours to go 2 miles. And I am still planning on going to tri-hottie's tonight. He's from Chicago and has the same opinion about the snow as I do, so hopefully he'll still be up for it. ARRRRRGGGHGHHHHHHH!!!!!

It is very simple, it does not snow here often and people do not really know what to really do in this situation.

I realize that it does not snow much. However, people around here can't be stupid enough to not remember what happens from year to year. It snows, idiots! Put some salt down! I know that they don't have the same resources as maybe Upstate New York does, but it's more of the fact that they don't efficiently use the resources they have. There is NO POINT in trying to salt the roads at 10 am, when everything is already a mess. Get some freakin' snow tires if you can't drive in half an inch of snow.
