Thanks and happy thanksgiving.  5 mile run with speedork.. weight lifgint uggg, the shoudler.  So I have lost the weight, run the miles 115/110 and have 3/4 strength, swim and bike for the month.  Should be doable at this point.

Hi all!  Sorry I have been MIA- spent the weekend in Milwaukee and it was a long one.  I've actually hit my weight goal as of last Tuesday (as long as I don't weigh myself again before the end of November!).  I'll have a tougher time with the bike volume goal though- I lost some time being sick last week, and then traveling.

I did a 10K yesterday though- my first- and I finished under 1 hour!  I was very excited- I was just hoping for 10 minute miles.  I don't know my official time yet, but Garmin time was 57:15.

Well I was set to meet all my goals then the pool closed. Poof. No swimming. The pool is closed for up to 2 weeks!! I met all the other goals and will exceed the run today.

Sorry teamies. I was looking forward to actually getting my head wet again.

Hi all, I have not been on the computer much this week, but I have been working out!  I will catch up my logs and the spreadsheet today.

BTW usually if you are sick or if you don't have control over something like a pool closure, you can adjust the goal for those days.

I met 3 of the 4 goals.  Just missed one session of ST.  I somehow thought that Wednesday was still November.  Ah well.  And I lost my weight which means I met that goal... yeehaw!

I met two goals, exceeded one and bombed on the swimming because I put it off and then the pool closed.

I WILL get my head wet in December. I WILL!!

Way to go on all your efforts teamies.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!! on a phenomenal effort by everybody to get to the finish line.

A very special CONGRATULATIONS to everybody who hit 100% in at least one of their goals.

A SUPER SPECIAL CONGRATULATIONS TO:

owl_girl of the Ghoulish for exceeding 100% overall

and dimplespoo and wplummer of the Crushers for also exceeding 100% overall!

Big round of applause!

As for the final winners ... because I'm lazy (actually, not, but I'm not PMing everyone and checking logs against spreadsheets and all that biz), it's well into December, and ...

Okay, so what I did was drop all the scores from BOTH teams that were under 50%, because clearly something happened, but nobody let us know. I figured it was fair because it was a nice arbitrary number and, well, yeah. I ain't doin' fancy calculations either, sorry.

Rhonda of the Crushers as the winner of the when-Judi-runs bonus challenge round got an extra 15% on her total.

Again this Challenge was very very close and the final scores are:

GHOULISH 83.49%

CRUSHERS 81.76%

(I still don't think that's statistically significant , but it will do for now)

CONGRATULATIONS GHOULISH!!!!!

Soo busy.  Anyway I ran 138/110, swam 4/4, lost 9 pounds with a goal of 5 and lifted/biked 4/4.  I finished my last lifting seesion at 11:50pm on the last day of the month!  But got it done, yay! All 5 goals met.  I still do not have any additional strength in my shoulder and my butt still feals the bike seat after 30 minutes, but oh well, regaining fitness is never as easy as losing it.  Thanks for having me on the team.
