Subject: RE: So is it worth the extra calories??I had avoided the damn fudge I got from a coworker all last night and all tonight - until I opened this thread! DAMN! Good thing I don't much like fudge, so I won't eat much. Been craving cookies hardcore lately. This is why I resisted the intense urge to bake for the past two weeks.
x3 on the puppy chow (also called muddy buddies ). To make them safe for those allergic to nuts, Sunbutter is a perfect substitute. We add coconut, raisins, oats, and other stuff to make them even better. We use them as trail mix, especially in the winter (not so good in the summer ). It gets tons of calories in while snowshoeing, which is especially hard for the kids.
BFF is allergic to nuts so I keep my house fairly nut free as well, which means no PB cookies, thank goodness. I have a serious weakness for PB cookies.
In response to the OP, I, too, try to only eat stuff that is worth the calories. If I take a bite and it isn't good, I'll throw it away. Waste is waste whether on my waist or in the waste. |
