I will be 32 in a few months, and I still get asked, "What college do you go to?" I rarely ever get hit on by guys in my preferred dating age range. In fact, I've met guys that are "too young" for me (by my standards) and it turns out they think I'm younger than they are! So frustrating. It's frustrating in the professional setting, too. Unless I have a conversation with someone about my career or mention how long I've been out of college, they think I'm much younger than I am. Within the past year, I got pegged for 18 on three separate occasions. One day, I will appreciate looking younger than my age, but for now, I don't.

I get this a lot, too. I am 32 and am regularly the only person carded at a table full of 25 year olds. Most people at work assume this is my first job out of college (I've been out of college for 10 years). Not that I'm complaining. But it does present a challenge in the dating world. 

I chuckle when people on dating sites state a preferred age range like "21-33" when they are 33 years old themselves. 

I also chuckled when said dating site "matched" me with my most recent Ex, on the first day I signed up. Sigh.
  

I am afraid that would happen to me too, which is why I'm not doing online dating. Other than not being able to live together we have a lot in common

I'd even wear my ninja outfit again. Although this is probably yet another reason why I'm single. I'm either wearing all black or safety yellow.

Yeah, pretty much a worst case scenario, but I had to laugh.
All I had to do was "X" out of it and say "Not interested" and the site won't even let me stalk go back to his profile. For the better!
  

That is pretty funny. Especially since I'm sitting at my desk with a glass of wine. I just took everyone at the office to lunch and we're pretty much goofing off. Happy holidays

I've had an open marriage proposal out on BT for FOUR years and nobody's taken me up on it. Yet

The only two tiny little catches are a) yes, you would be marrying ME, and b) you have to move to paradise.

We don't really have Internet dating in Bali. We do, but it's pretty shady. It just isn't common to meet on the Internet.

I'm actually really happy being single, too. I've also spent enormous amounts of time physically alone in the last 18 months and I'm cool with it. For the social butterfly I am, this all surprised me.

It's like a bad joke,

Right now I am mainly sitting on the trainer and sweating buckets. I was thinking about going outdoors tomorrow. Also about 95% sure I'm ordering a P2 tomorrow.

So where are all the chicks looking for just-over-middle aged guys eating too many cookies over the holidays, wearing spandex indoors and wasting investing money in carbon fiber? I'm the guy for her
