Subject: 1 year anniversary of my getting off the couch! WhooHooo!So, a year ago today I finally shed the couch, and made it to the gym. Realizing my lifestyle, eating, and nonactive habits were a road to ruin, I crawled out of bed and went through my first workout in far too long. I did mostly cardio & strength training until I discovered the fun of tris in June.... Fast forward to today -- I'm feeling as fit as I have ever, I've lost 60 pounds, I've found a passion in S/B/R and racing, am active just about every day, I eat better, sleep better, and feel stronger and more energetic. Have a season planned for 2011 of several races, and am pushing myself to get more fit. The only downside is a case of plantar fasciitis which is forcing me to miss my planned 1/2 mary on 3/20, but I'm recovering, and will be back at running - albeit gradually - in no time.
