Run
Comments: The race started and my legs felt good from go. There was no "warm-up" time needed. I felt I could have pushed my legs faster but my lungs weren't allowing it. I couldn't get into a rythm where I was comfortable. Either way, I pushed through all the rollers and tried to maintain pace and used the down hills for some free speed. Hind sight is always 20/20 and I generally feel after most races I could have pushed it a little more. Although, at the time I don't think I could have. What would you do differently?: Not much if anything. Post race
Warm down: Waited for a bus. Was going to run an additional 4 miles but was given the option of breakfast or run..well duh! Food please! What limited your ability to perform faster: Training for ING and really keeping my long run mileage up and not giving myself time to rest. I've continued on with my long runs since Richmond and didn't lower the mileage after. To get good at racing you need to race..it's hard to do that when you have long runs scheduled every weekend. :) Last updated: 2008-02-21 12:00 AM

Drove to race sight. Picked up packet and hung out in car until about 10 minutes to start.
Jogged from car to packet pick-up and back. Not much.
