Top O' the morning gang! Rest day after my unexpected 4mile run after I locked my keys in my car yesterday. Duh! Right knee is sore from swim, bike, run yesterday. Might rest it for 2 days to play it safe (except from fridays swim).

We got a load of 6 tons of gravel to cover our driveway, and I spent yesterday evening spreading it with a spade.  So I think I'm skipping the lifting today...*very* sore.  I'll swim in the late afternoon though.

Between this and the postholes, I'm getting an idea of what farming is like.  No wonder farmers don't need to do triathlons!

I was supposed to do stationary cycling this morning but I was so darned tired that I did not feel like doing anything. I did do a bit of jog/walk on the jog master for 23 minutes....then I hit the hot tub!

HI Everyone,

Stationary bike for an hour-21.97 miles

Swam for 47 minutes-1660 yards (pool at my Y is only 20 yards long that is why I have weird numbers sometimes.)

I couldn't face another treadmill run, so I ran outside in the snow for the first time in a while. I forgot how hard this is...my HR was getting up there. When I hit a patch of pavement for a few minutes I felt like I was flying!
Ran for 45 minutes total...then stretched ++.

Biked for 1 hour this a.m., 17+ miles.  Swam at noon 30-minute trial hoping for a mile, only got 1650 yds.  Getting closer, but no cigar yet.  Also did 550 yds after for total of 2200 for the day.

30 minute walk at work

45 minutes weight training upper body

Fitlinxx orientation -- light full body weights to learn the "ropes"

6.5M Group run at 8mi/m. One of the best runs!!! I signed up for a swimming lesson starting next week. Although my focus is still the 1/2 marathon toward the end of March, now I am ready to mix in some swimming (partly because my body started needing more rest between hard runs...)
