Seems like it should be pretty straightforward.... make sure you rent a car at the major airport from a major company in Europe. We went to Austria couple of years ago, and did not rent a car right away. We paid dearly for it, rented a tiny car in a small town ... they jacked a price for us and would not let us use a credit card even though the door had a visa sign on it, oi! If we rented a car at the airport we would pay for the entire week what we payed for one day! |

| Subject: RE: Rental car in Europe Check your CC if you are going with the automatic coverage deal. Some countries (N. Ireland coems to mind) are not covered. Be prepared for a tiny car. |
