BTW, Waterdog said his rear derailleur blew up at mile 80. Had to get bike support to shorthen his chain and he road it as a fixie for the last 30 miles of hills. Trashed his legs for the run...

Just to clarify: That adjustment would make it technically a single-speed, not a fixed gear.  But, still quite incredible!
