YO-YOing , back to 189.2 this morning. But got some grocery shopping to do today, so I'm hoping I'll be able to get back to my pre P90X weight of at least 186 (without the cancer, lol). Will let you know how the shopping went.

Hi Everyone, I know I haven't posted anything or done anything in a while but it's all gonne really messy here. I can't get to terms with something that happened and I just can't find energy or motivation to move my lazy (and tbh fat bum) to do anything even though I'm still dreaming about my Sprint Tri in September (and being healthy and skinny). Also been smoking like a lunatic recently. I'm trying to put everything back into place but it's so difficult when I have to do it on my own.

Josh and Travljini- thank you for your posts (and PM), I really appreciate them.

Anyway, great to see ye all doing fine!

OMG, what's hap'g.  Tell me someonee else has the summer phenomena:  You start packing it on?

I keep a log and I've been mowing down an extra 500 calories a night, really for no apparent reason other than I'm like whoo=hoo, it's summer, I'm having fun, I feel good, this tan is covering up the flub.  Give me an extra glass of wine.  Ben and Jerry's, why not?

My original goal was sub 140.  I feel like my brain is saying, oh, yeah, come on, you can make it to 150.

Got a couple of late night tri club meet ups planned, maybe that can break the habit.  ai yai yai.  I need a padlock around my mouth after 6 p.m.

A glass of wine is good (ask Enders) Ben & Jerrys is bad, bad, bad.  Once in awhile it is okay, but not nightly.  I feel your pain though I had to have a Sonic Blast the other day.

Shopping went fine. No twinkies jumped into the cart, whew! Stocked up on lean meats, veggies, salad stuff, protein shake, nuts, cereal and fruits... I should be o.k. for the next two wks.

Sorry to hear that things are kind of rocky lately, but what would life be without a little variety??? It can't all be poppy fields, and sugar plums. Remember too, variety is the spice of life.

Drum Roll, please

142.

But I need to be careful.  Ya know how you mow down for a few days and you weigh yourself and think WOW, nothing hap'd, then keep going and WHAM, it catches ya.

SOOO, this day forward, I'm really gonna try tonight to avoid the Ben and Jerry's and the chips and the salsa.  I swear, I think it's that when I have to put on jeans it reminds me  but summer clothes are so much more forgiving, capris, shorts, not as confining.

Good morning!

Well, last week was NOT good -- 143.2, I believe.  This week... better, at least:  141.6.  Possibly the 100 mile bike ride on Sunday did me some good??!

The rest of this week should be good.  Next week, however... I'm on the road for work Sunday night through Friday night -- not easy to eat healthy when I'm eating out that much.  I'm going to try and make a grocery store run and at least make my lunches healthy, and avoid dinner out at least twice.  That's the plan, at least.

It looks like I might have found a training buddy or at least somebody who's willing to give TRI a go. We're starting with the glacier pace jog/walk tomorrow. Karen is about 30mins drive away from me (or longer in mental traffic) but she's off now so we can hopefully schedule something to avoid the rush hour. Not sure how serious she's gonna be about it but it's a start anyway.

Ye know what, Team Skinny is THE BEST bunch of people I've met in a long time- thanks for all your support!!!!!

Last: 152

Today: 152.4

I guess that Sonic caught up with me for sure.....sigh.

Enders and I are on the same wavelength.  Good job with getting weight back down.

I am sure that Comet feels the same way about summer Capris Trav .

Startin,  I haven't left home in awhile. but I think they have lean meat, chicken and salads at restaurants now days.  Its the drinks and desserts that will kill you....

Glad to hear it Ceade.  Try to get her to sign up for BT and we can encourage her to stick with it.

Really??!  Huh.

And my problem isn't usually the drinks.  Sometimes it's the desserts, but I'm okay skipping those (mostly).  But - the portion sizes - that gets me every time.  I always struggle a bit when I'm thrown off my routine.  Just a matter of trying to make good decisions, one by one.

Last time: 224.5
This time: 223.5
Total: -1

I went to the gym this morning and needed to do a 60 min bike ride. All I could finish was 15 min before I was completely exhausted. I suppose my body is still recuperating from the cold I've had for a few days. Oh well, I'll try again tomorrow
