OK, not that I got a run in, in temps below zero(-18 deg. C for you Canadians), I'm officially in. This morning it was -2 when I left, and -4 when I got back. Anyone else, run (or bike if you are really nuts), in temps below 0 this winter. Who else is a member?Chris

Yesterday morning, a 5k run when it was -15C (-25C with the windchill), technically the mercury wasn't quite to 0F, but I would rather run at -25 with no windchill than at -15C with a windchill...

I am in. Monday I guess I officialy joined.

I think that if you go outside any time around O'Dark 30 you are a hero in my book. Even if you are just starting the car.

Two years in Minot, ND, I'm without a doubt in the club. I am thrilled to say that I'm an inactive member though, having been in FL for a few years now.

The coldest that I've run in is -3 F. However, last year I mountain biked in -6 F. It wasn't that bad, just an extra layer. ;-)

What about swim!?

Does my 50ft run from the covered heated pool to the locker rooms in 28F count? It sure did FEEL sub zero since I was still wet and just in the swim suit. OK, I know it doesn't count, but if it actually got below zero here I think the whole city would grind to a halt and running or biking outside would be completely out of the question. I bet the gym would close. We go into panic mode in those kinds of temps around here.

I feel like a charter member - born in Wisconsin, living now in Iowa, I run in sub-zero weather all the time. My wife is a member too ... she hates the treadmill and runs in the worst of weather, which is why she was beaming this morning when we put her on a plane for 8 days in Arizona!

All of us Manitobans are charter members!! My coldest run so far -38 C with the windchill (that's pretty much the same in Fahrenheit -36)!! Then we get dinged on the other end - with prairie summer heatwaves in the mid to high 30's. (that's mid 90's in Fahrenheit).

I do not run much in the winter because of the ice.  I do run short distances once in awhile and have done so this year in weather ranging from -15 to -24 C (5 to -11F) and had no problem whatsoever with the cold.

This is one club I never want to join. No offense guys and gals. All of us South Floridians are freezing our a$$s off lately! Supposed to get down to 45 tonight. Wow. I haven't felt that in a while. I'm actually wearing a t-shirt to work today!

Fourty Five for a low! I haven't seen 45F for a couple of months. The temp on the bank thermometer on my way to work this Monday read -38F. In fact, the temperature at the start of the only triathlon I did last year was 46F... in August.

We had frost last summer in June and July. Granted, this is not common, but it was entertainment.

I have an 80 minute run and a 90 minute bike planned this weekend. Highs will be less than 20F.

I'm with the Pooh Bear. -41 for me. I think that is officially a 'convergence' run, isn't it?
