Well, I'm coming home for 8 days in July and will be bringing my bike to keep up my IMFL build. Where is the best and safest place for long rides. I'll be with my parents on the southside and thought I'd ride to Taber and back. 4 lane road and pretty wide shoulders if I remember correctly.

I quite often ride on the highway too. I like the wide shoulders, and now the rumble strips, for safety. I usually head west to start out and hope for the tailwind coming home.

The Headwinds cycling club in Lethbridge has a list of some rides in the area on their website too.

Thanks for the info. I just hope it's not windy when I'm there all week. That's one thing I definitely don't miss.
