Last year, Crowny, Miamiwithnumbers and I met for pasta at the Chancery in PP (the one Scooby went to LAST year instead of the one in Racine...).  I'm sure arrangements can be made again this year for those interested.

I love that Peggy calls me "Miami with Numbers" hilarious!!
I would definately be down for some dinner again at the Chancery by the outlet mall (sorry, everything revolves around shopping lately) so I would be up for that again???

got2run - 2008-07-22 4:33 PM Switched from OLY to Sprint. Well, i sent them an email with my intentions to switch races. My expereince with Pleasnat Prairie Tri is they aren't too quick to respond to emails. So I plan on doing the sprint, but if for some weird reason they weren't able to change it, i'll DTFU and do the oly.

Is that why I haven't gotten a confirm for my switch.  Maybe I should call.

Yep.  Arriving Saturday and staying overnight.  Only a 1-1.25 hour drive to get there from down here, but it is easier to stay there.

Okay, so I am waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay bored at work today.  Did you know there are 28 BT'ers signed up for the this race (I believe that includes the sprint).  We gotta find a meeting spot and get a pix!  Wow, what a turn out.  Who has done it before?  Please provide a meeting location

Um, hellllllooooo...read my last post on this thread...

I will not organize, but will gladly attend...things that I organize have the track record of being abysmally attended...

I'll be there Peggy...seriously, kids, are we doing dinner? Or if we just wanted to do our own things for dinner, we should definately try to meet up after the race.

I only say after because I can tell you right now...I am going to be a nervous wreck on race morning...it's my first oly, I STILL suck at swimming, so I am going to be freaking out!

Hey, speaking of the race, does anyone remember how the bike racks are assigned?  Is it by bib number so you have a specific spot?  Or are the racks numbered by bib number ranges (i.e. #'s 0-25) and that's where you rack your bike?

No you don't (I won't), trans closes early though.  If I remember correctly from last year the bikes are racked by bib number.

There should be a Fleet Feet tent, we could all meet there.

Actually, yes you do have to rack the night before (unless you have special permission or something).

They had ranges on racks but not an actual number where you would put your bike and no one else could.
