WI_tri_guy - 2008-08-06 3:46 PM No you don't (I won't), trans closes early though. If I remember correctly from last year the bikes are racked by bib number.

Actually, yes you do have to rack the night before (unless you have special permission or something).

You are right, I had completely forgotten parking my bike in the rain last year..... New bike this year, I'm not liking the idea......

True enough.  I'm just hoping we don't have a repeat performance of last year.

i'm hoping for sunny & 70, with no wind (and a nice cloud to block the sun right over the lake so we don't go blind!) let's start putting in our votes now!

Seriously, I didn't mind the overcast from last year...made for really nice race weather.  Could do without the typhoon before hand, but cloudy isn't so bad...

And going based off a weather report a week in advance?  Please...SOR was supposed to be sunny and cheery, too...looked how that turned out...

Yeah, yeah, yeah.  It's my typical MO.    I'll be obsessing about it for the next week.

It's only Monday and this is Wisconsin.  The weather will change (and I am predicting for the better) by the weekend.

Im with Terri...but, remember last year? Alot of people wussed out, and we still raced! Just a bit of drizzle on the course. (of course, Im not sweet enough to melt in the rain...no excuse not to race!)

And the outlook has already changed.  Looks like the storm moved out to Monday.  So far.

Yeah, last year I figured, I paid the $, I'm going to let the RD make the decision for me.  Glad I did it.  Great course.  Great race.  Great event.  Can't wait for Sunday morning!!

I broke down and signed up for the Oly. It was either that or sleep in on Sunday and that's no fun. I'm going to camp nearby (I hope) Saturday night.

I called the rec plex and was told that "no, I can't pick up my packet on Sunday morning".  So, I guess we will pick up and rack on Sat.  Transition closes at 6.  Dinner afterwards?

I think since I am going to be with my friend Marc who likes to eat pizza and drink a 6 pack before his races, we're just going to go somewhere by my aunt's house...

I'm in. But you'd have to pick me up since my bike will be in transition.
