That is a tragedy, but thanks to alot of great people, doctors are making some advances in the way of spinal cord injuries. I hope hers is not permanent. I will send some prayers her way.

As a firefighter I understand how quickly life can come to an end, we always hear that we "died doing something we loved to do". In this case this wonderful woman died doing just that and had the courage and strength of character to die with dignity. I have very few women that I can say I admire...this lady will be one of them. I pray that when it is my time I have the fortitude to face it with the same courage she showed.
