I'm in for the 1/2, as long as I get the go ahead from ye ol' sports med man. And, if I don't, then I'm in for the 1/6th.

Alright - I know this got off topic with the exciting news of Amy Jo and Craig's little bun in the oven, but I am in for the 1/6 barrel. It sounds like fun and I really enjoy running for beer.

Wondering if anyone else will be there jockstrapping as my hubby will be coming (along with one or two kids...!) He may need a drinking partner. Even though it's only a 1/6th barrel run, I am very slow and he may needs lots of beers.....

He'd love to meet some of you...!

I should be able to talk hubby into it as long as he has a drinking partner! I doubt he'd want to run it! He would bring our 4 unless we kept them at home.

No buns, but maybe about $500 worth of cookies.   Saaaaaaaaay, Craig, how about baking some and bringing them to the race?

Well, I think the drinking beer part could be done on crutches.

I agree with Deanna - and I will even recruit my husband to be your beer server for the day.

I got this weird twist to "Green Eggs and Ham" in my mind right now -

I can do it over here.
I can do it over there.
I can do it by my house.
I can do it with my spouse.

We've cancelled the Des Moines half due to tight funds, but I'd like to sign up for a closer alternative and was eyeing up this race. Is November cold? I can't remember.

Beer is nice. I like beer.
