![]() Run
Comments: Passed people primarily on hills, only got passed by one person after the initial thinning of the pack. Hills are my friend. What would you do differently?: Eat earlier prior to race. Have some coffee ![]() Post race
Warm down: walk. slice of spinach pizza, cookie, apple juice What limited your ability to perform faster: inexperience; conditioning; pre-race nutrition; Event comments: Happy overall. First road race. Goals were to establish a 10k baseline, learn how a 10k feels/how to run one, have some fun. Went in hoping for a pace of 8' or better. Met all. 2/27: results are in. I was in the top 3rd overall, top 50% of the men and just squeeked into the top half of my age group. A solid MOP effort. Not bad considering I've been running for 1.5 years after 27 years of smoking. Onward. Last updated: 2005-02-26 12:00 AM
