Run
Comments: I have been PTing for the last couple of weeks. My goal for this race was to run 5 minutes and walk 5 minutes. I was hoping that I would be back to normal (ok at least heathy) and was going to do the 10K or 5K for a time test. I manned up and didn't push myself at all. The good news is no pain after the race. I was able to make this a great training walk/run. My daughter did really well. I got toward the end of the finish line and turned around and headed back to run with her. We finished strong together--until the race announcer said--"Beat your Dad." Then it was game on! She took me a the the photo finish! What would you do differently?: Be healthy. Post race
Warm down: I walked around and talked to a bunch of people that we knew. I picked up the race bag and headed back with the family. Event comments: Great local race. I hope to do it again next year! Last updated: 2008-10-26 12:00 AM

I drove my son Layton down at 7:00 am to volunteer with the boy scouts. At about 8:15 Danette, Dennae and I walked downtown. I saw Raji -- who is recovery from cancer. She walked the 10K with her husband.
Just the walk
