I'll probably be creating a slot soon.  I'm in, but it's looking like I'll have a schedule conflict and have to cancel.  Once it's confirmed I'll be withdrawing.  So you're one step closer.

I got onto the Vineman 70.3 waitlist on 3/5.  I was #420.  A couple days ago, I was #229.  Which averages 2.6 dropouts per day.  At that rate, I'll be 55 shy of getting in.  I need the drop-out rate to accelerate to 3.41 (30% rate increase) in order to sqeek in.  Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be racing this year.

Wow, I was 292 on the waitlist a month and half ago and now I am in. Just got a message from active.com. Super Stoked!

That's normal...I'm pretty sure there were at least that many last year.  Typically most of the waitlist has gotten in recently.

That's normal...I'm pretty sure there were at least that many last year.  Typically most of the waitlist has gotten in recently.


I've no idea how they do it, because that many spots simply don't open up, and I've heard the same, that most, if not all, folks on the waiting list get in.
