How do you use your nutrition bar?  After workouts?  During?  What do you like about it...taste? Easy on the stomach?

I'm not sure if they are energy bars, but I love the Slim Fast Oatmeal Raisin bars. They taste just like an oatmeal cookie, and they are a great recovery snack for after a workout.

Clif-bar; organic, cheap, tasty, good carb:protein ratio, right calorie point (240-260), good variety of flavors.

Recently I have been using Zone Perfect. I use the bars as snacks throughout the day (usually 9am and 2/3pm). They come in a bunch of varieties, but I really like the Chocolate Peanut Butter. They really taste good and not too bad by the numbers.

210 cals, 7g fat, 250mg chol, 250mg sodium, 120mg Potasium, 25g carbs, 14g Protein

They also are made mostly of soy protein... I generally have issues with crude and isolate whey proteins

Love the Clif bars.  They have lots of different flavors, so I don't get bored, and they all taste really good.

Cli bars - tons of flavors, usually on sale at REI, I can eat them before running without issues.

I like the Clif Mojo, not quite as heavy feeling as the regular Clif for me.

Agree with all this plus I can eat them on long rides and they are easy on the tummy.  Also great for a snack or post workout.

I like Clif Bars alot, but the single best bar (esp. on the bike) is the "Toasted Nuts & Cranberry" flavor Luna Bar. Luna Bars are great in terms of ease of consumption (similar to Clif, but less dense), but all the other flavors have frosting...equals melty mess on warm ride. This flavor not only is tasty, but has no frosting...really terrific on a ride. Give it a try.

Please.  There is no competition to the Cliff Bar.  After a couple years of choking down Powerbar's I tried a Cliff bar and felt guilty as it was like eating candy.  They have special flavors, like the gingerbread one out right now.  Seriously, you could cut them up into small pieces and bring them to a Holiday Party and they would be a hit, delicious!

Of course this is in my opinion Laughing

I really like protein bars from Honey Stinger, the taste great and you don't have that weird protein taste in your mouth.

Found some deals here: http://www.tribug.com/store/index.php?cPath=23_26

I like snicker's marathon bars. The chocolate and peanuts help ease the vitamin/protein aftertaste other bars have.

WallyWorld is selling Cliff bars by the 6 and 12 packs now.  Have seen the 6-packs (pun) for as little as $2.00 on sale.  Also see Cliff bars at Academy Sports for .98 cents each.

Love 'em, especially for a mid-morning snack at the office.
