I saw Birkie's bike when his Felt cracked and I could swear this is the exact same bike.  Looks like an identical break.  Hoping for the best Chris.

some guy behind me was just banging two pieces of metal together and i jumped up thinking it was a cowbell.................MAN I NEED TO GET OUTTA HERE AND OVER THERE!!!

And... I have some good news.

First, a HUGE thanks to Luke @ Machinery Row bikes.  Dude saved me. 

They worked with Felt ( as they are dealer ) and Felt stepped up in a pretty big way.  Getting a frame overnighted to the shop, and the shop is going to build it up for me so it'll be ready sometime tomorrow. 

Paying a little bit for it, since it's a brand new 2010 B2 frame, but certainly it's far less than a brand new frame or bike would have cost.  And I don't have to worry about riding on a compromised seatpost/frame for 112 miles. 

So... yeah!  Thank you to Felt and Thank you to Machinery Row bikes!!!!

And it just went up a little more. 

Chris, that is the EXACT same problem I had with my DA...unfortunately Felt couldn't find a DA frame in my size so my LBS tore down a 2008 DA they had in stock so I could use the frame and they put my old components on it. 

Whizzzzz was texting Lazymarathoner and I was approached on who to contact - I could only think of 2 places, Machinery Row being one of them.

Great that it all worked out!!!

I got a one-inch vertical slice below my 3rd toe on the left foot at the top of the ball of my foot exiting from the swim this morning when I must have stepped on some rock in the water.  I see pink, which means it went below the calloused area.  I didn't clean the wound until I got home tonight.  It smarts a little.  I just need to keep it clean and try Craig's superglue recommendation.

Going to be meeting up with Ironguiness tomorrow morning at 8 at Firemans park to ride some of the stick for anyone that wants to ride instead of swim.

So the first thing I hear when I check in is that there is a body in the lake that the Ironman is taking place in.....

So yes since they still haven't found it does kinda creap me out that I am going to go and swim at 8 in the morning!!

Hopefully they find it!

Went to Great Dane tonight and that was really good....and I love it here, way better then SIoux falls!!

Maybe I will see some BTers tomorrow!

I'm still swimming. When you smell and taste the algae you'll forget about the body...

Is that your new nutrition for the bike ride - Lake Monona - and you're putting it in your new Gatorade bottles?  The algae will roll up nicely into the Bento Box.  

Statistics for the number of 18 year olds and older that are alive at this time on the Earth compared to who has??

Speaking of numbers, there are 2701 persons listed for IM WI 2009, according to the official program that we received.

I wonder how many will actually not come and complete packet pickup and such?  Last year at least 200 registrants did not come in for pickup (I helped check the cardstock of registrants that did not come in and had to put them in order).

Well my diet has been a little light on the vegetables this week

I don't know if it falls in the nutrition pyramid - maybe blue-green algae could be classified as "protein".
