Then we have one spot open. let me know, or I'm going to open it up to my interval class and I have one guy interested.

I am sorry if this is already posted somewhere in this thread, but what does this class usually consist of?  That is, how long do you ride, what's the pace, what "course" do you load in?  I actually think I saw y'all at Spokes last Saturday, it's the first time I had ever seen these computrainer things...looks like a lot of fun.

Also...any of you go out and ride with the Reston Bike Club? Just curious.

It's not a class, per se. Just a group of us who rent out time on the trainer. Our slot is for 2 hours ($20 a person), but that usually means an hour and a half of ride time. There is no "pace" because it's on a trainer - it's not like anyone is going to get dropped, as we aren't actually going anywhere...You ride as hard or as easy as you want and it doesn't matter how fast or slow you are. They have a bunch of of courses to select from, but we can also download and bring others - I think some folks are going to try doing that, since Spokes doesn't have some of the ones we've wanted to do in the past.

A bunch of us ride with the RBC - they are a great group and have 5 different levels on the Tuesday night rides. Highly recommended!

OK great, looking forward to meeting some of you out there then.  I went out prob 6-7 times last year to the Thursday night rides...ran with the 4s or 3s.  This year I will most definitely have to start out with the 5s or 4s...

Ok, thanks for the summary, I think I'll try to make it out sometime when there is an open slot.

they had it directly on the race website. i will try to find longhorn and timberman as well so that you will have them for future classes.

the only confusing thing is that there are .3DC and .CRS courses. i'm not sure what the difference is and if racermate takes both types. i'm pretty sure i noticed them importing .crs when i was there.

YES! yay!  I tried to do it off the racermate site and I don't think it uploaded the course. I don't get it.  I will tell you I looked at the powerman alabama on the ct site and thought oh, this will be a good one, and the one they had at spokes SUCKED.

I hope it works!!!

we'll see what i can get. worst case, i have the wrong ones, and i learn how to do it and get the courses ready for the next time.

i think there is a free course creator too. we could create some fun courses or at least add some extra fluff to courses we want to do but are too short. ie. take the columbia tri course and add 10 miles of rollers so it's long enough.

it would also be fun to create a course that 1 lap of all the local tri's back to back. reston sprint->reston oly->luray->va run->etc.
