Hi team. I got in a 5k yesterday on the treadmill, it was snowing buckets outside. I came down with a nasty cold so I got a little dizzy running, but it felt good to do something. I also did some abs. My back is achy with all this unpacking so the ab stuff helps.

I'm headed into the city for a swim later. I'm trying really hard to catch up. 100% may be a stretch, but I'll do my best!

Yay, toppage

Well, I had to come home from work early to chip ice off my roof because water was coming in my bathroom!  The ice dams were HUGE.  I got about 10 feet done in 2 hours.  that was pleasant.  But, packed my bag and got to the gym for a strength workout and a short swim.  Great work everyone!

The entire purpose of this challenge was to really challenge yourself, I know you did with yours and I am sure you will do everything that you can to reach it, or get as close as possible of it.

Good luck with your half this week end, is there a way we can follow you live on a web site somewhere? We all know you're a rock star in real life anyway

Even if I run outside every day sometimes I still feel the cold and have a hard time. Today was like -2F or so but it felt way worst then that, I guess the wind didn't help ...

Anyway, morning run done How is everyone today? What's planned?

Good morning everyone!

Thanks for the congrats Robin and Robert! Glad I accomplished the 100 push-ups, now I just have to keep going on them so I don't lose everything I've gained.

I did an 8 mile run last night and a 2500yd swim this morning. It is definitely going to be a challenge to meet my goals, but I'm determined to get it done! No quitters here on team grit!

Great training everyone! Keep up the good work!!!

Way to go Teamies!  With that in mind, I am gonna raise my swim by 1000 yds. I could probably do more but I can't guarantee when I can get to the pool.

Just make sure that you send a PM to Slugger to make sure she's award of it too. She said that raising goals count in the challenge too.

I PM'd Slugger.

Some of you asked what the carp is a Thruster Challenge!  Here is a link to what a thruster is.  My goal is to follow the same schedule as the 100 pushups...

http://www.crossfit.com/cf-info/excercise.html

Scroll down to the second grouping called "Crossfit Exercises".   Then within that box scroll to Thruster Barbell.
