Champps (a chain I believe) has a huge pepperjack cheeseburger that I love.  A local chain Brewbachers also has great burgers.

In So. Calif (where I grew up), Tommy's chilli cheeseburgers are classics!

They opened a Tommy's in San Diego last year!!  Yum!!!  My husband is from the Bellflower area growing up and he loved Tommy's so he is in seventh heaven that they opened in San Diego

My dad used to take me to the original Tommy's on Beverly when I was a kid

So Cal recently got a Five Guys in Carson and we've been talking about trying it.

I spent many a late night at the one on Roscoe Blvd.  Whenever we went to the Pacific Amphitheater for a concert on the way back we always hit Tommys.  I went back to So. Cal several years ago and they had Tommy's everyone.  One on Topanga blvd, 9am hitting Tommy's I loved it!

For some reason, hamburger is catching on as generally accepted favorite food for foodies around the world. Niche burger joints started to pop up in Asia and Paris. High end restaurants are proud to feature burger on their menu.

Having said all that, I would like a jalapeno pepperjack burger with onions tomato lettuce on a toasted bun please. A side of fries and onion rings, large iced tea with lemon.

I have 3 words for you. Five Napkin Burger.

NYC, Oh, my, god. Yes, it's all that.

We have a place in Portland similar. It's called Humdinger. Need I say more? The deliciousness just soaks through the napkins and drips down your arm.

I also looove the Red Robin Whiskey River Barbecue burger with their fried onions. O!M!G!

Rochester has the "garbage plate" with burgers, mac salad, home fries, and hot sauce!

Ah, Nick Tahoe's.  I visited that place with friends at 1 AM in my college days, and it was quite a wild scene.

And this thread caused me to have a hamburger for dinner last night.

Did you go to school in ROchester???

Nope, near Albany.  But had friends that are from Pittsford, went there with them.

It's hard to beat Fudruckers for a chain burger.  Last week I made my first bison burgers, they were yummy.  Normally for me it's turkey burgers and I put Sweet Baby Ray's bbq sauce on while I am grilling them.  Here in Spain they have the hamburguesa completa:  It has the normal meat, cheese, lettuce, etc..., then they add ham and an egg.  Sooooo goooood!

I prefer buffalo burgers.

But for a burger, in Vegas there is 'Burger Bar', which is amazing, and 'Create'.

Fuddruckers (for a chain) is not bad either.  Mostly cuz you can build your own.

Culver's Butter Burgers, especially the bacon cheezeburgers!

I remember going Gonzo over a locally-owned A&W Poppa Burger when I was a kid.
