One of our officers died yesterday;  we had worked a car together in 1987.  Jack was a wonderful man.  Please keep his family and friends in your thoughts, prayers.

What a terrible tragedy!!  I just read the story and it made me cry!!  My dad is a deputy and has been for 30 years, it is a huge loss for the entire department when they loose an officer.   His family and squad will be in our prayers!!

Sorry to hear about your loss. My department lost an officer during a SWAT entry a few years ago. It was the hardest day I've ever had to work in my LE career. Few people have understood the long term effects of it.

Our prayers go out to you, the department, and Jack's family.
