Actually managed to make it to WW on my real day and - hurrah hurrah - I was down 1.8 pounds to 145.8.  Perseverence and not giving up appear to be the key here.  I will not make my goal of 140 by month end, but I did get my 25 pound loss prize today.

189.5 this week. Up 1 pound from last week, but it's pre-AF bloat time, so I'm not sweating it. My goal for the end of May was 187, I think, and I may be there!

Overslept this morning & forgot to hop on the scale. Will face the music tomorrow morning.

Weighed this morning. Not happy about it. Will keep the scary number to myself right now...but rest assured, I will be spending more time in Team Skinny .

I forgot to get online yesterday, but my weight was 190.7.

I'm certain that wasn't my actual weight b/c of food because I didn't eat that much...and because today I was down to 189.4. If only today was Wednesday lol!

Weel, I'm back from my business trip and I can report that I have gained 6lbs in the last two weeks that I have been away. The goal weight for May has been shot, but I will get back on the horse and continue heading down-wards again soon. I am suffering from illness at present so my training will suffer but I will survive...

Ok, I'll bite the bullet and give my actual weight starting next week.  Still not where I want to be, but definitely better than last month.

No training today, but I have a lot of good excuses.

Car overheating badlya couple of days ago, so had to take it in today to get it all fixed up.  So, walked to work from the shop and then walked back to pay the $$$ ransom and pick it up.  Parts reasonable (water pump and etc.)  but labor at $100/hr sure adds up fast...

Then off to the dentist today as well - aka torture guy "Open ze mouth, we hav ways..."  Ok, not THAT bad, as he DID shoot me up with enough juice, finally.

Him:  "You can feel that?"
Me:    "Yes!"
Him:   "Hmmm.... I can do this!"  (insert needle again...)
Repeat.  Told him he should be paying me to be there.  He didn't buy it.

I've been successfully avoiding dental work for a LONG time as I have a Very Strong "RUN AWAY!!" reaction to being in that chair and hearing the sound of that drill.  You know what I mean.  To the point of shaking.

I know it comes from a few bad experiences as a teenager (when you're young and stupid and don't know how to stand up for yourself) where I could basically feel everything they were doing and the guy was just like "Hang In There"  while you are going AAAUUUGGHH!!! in your mind.  For some reason, it's always been difficult to get my mouth numb to the point where I really can't feel anything.

So, new dentist tells me I'm a "challenge" and going to make him work for his money.  Seemed to think I came there just to provide him with his fun for the day.  Hey, as long as I can't feel what you're doing - have at it buddy.

So now much poorer but better maintained overall.

New diet strategy - go to the dentist.  When you can't feel anything/taste anything it's not so much fun to eat and when that wears off and your teeth hurt - same goes.

hey Cadreamer, not a fan of the dentist either and as a Scot from the pre-fluoride generation, I'm a bit of a "challenge" mouthwise too.  Still, at least I keep Greg the dentist in SUVs so that he can go surf-skiing every morning before work Undecided  I do think it's a bit of an extreme (and expensive) diet strategy though.  Hope the mouth (and wallet) feels better soon.

Down 1.8 lbs this week to 136.4.  Whew, holiday muffin-top reducing although probably not fast enough so that I can back into my grey silk chic little dress for a friends' 40th birthday - rats and double rats.  My hubby said it was my own fault for showing such rubbish self-control.  I called him a very rude name.   Luckily my Goth(esque) tartan bodice still fits (loosened laces) for next week's posh dinner.

I feel for you CAD.  I go to the dentist as often as I go to the doctor.  That would be about 15-16 years ago.  I did go to the dentist and have to go back on friday to have a molar pulled.....fun times,  but beats having a root canal.

came back from a mellow swim-bike-swim event this AM to an empty house (wife took the kidz out for bfast) so I goofed around a little on Wii Fit.  Weighed myself and I was at 216, 6 pounds less than Wednesday.  I know a lot of that had to be water loss but that's the first time I've seen a number less than 220 on a scale in 6 years.  Felt great.

Enjoyed catching up on everyones posts.

I'm in at 167.5 (hovering around the mid 160's - which means I'm wasting lots of my life not moving in the right direction!)

I am just in a slump. I'm back in the gym mode and hate that I'm basically at step one cardio wise (two 11min. miles on treadmill; spin class). Too bad I'm not into power lifting - I get stronger sooo much faster, then I build cardio.
Yes, saling I know it's because I actually lift when I should be running/biking!!

I'm into the tri's for the variety and the added push to do cardio, I know I'll be much more excited when I get consistent and see some results.

I don't think I'm gonna make it to 185 by tomorrow I was 189 this morning.  I'm still happy with this month.  I was able to fit into a size 32 pants, and I've made huge gains in my running.  I did 5.5 miles last night, and felt good afterwards.  I've lost 23 pounds since March 17th, so I'm not discouraged.

But you have run at least TWO sub-nine minute miles this month! That's awesome - nothing to feel badly about there!

Here ya go daisy...One of many conversion calc's.  My beggest problem running is carrying the calendar to know how I am doing.
