If they set it up like last year the whole swim will be strung with floaty noodles, so that should help?

It went really well for me, I saw Aaron (paddle2paddle) there, but no one else....there were definately a lot of people there this year.  At least the weather was nice!!

Still waiting for your race report, Ben. 

I had a decent race too.  I was extatic about my swim.  My bike and run were about what I expected; that is, fine, but not great.  I'd definitely consider doing this race again.  The lake was really quite nice for swimming with the water being much clearer than anything I've swum in here in the Cities.
