Ok, so I checked (because I've seen different spellings, and I want to make sure I use the correct one), and I get to use the one with 2 e's (I don't know how to do the stupid little accent with my keyboard).  But, he will be the fiancee...(do people really hate that I call him 'the boy' all that much?)

From Wikipedia (the greatest source in the world, I know...)
A man who is engaged to be married is called his partner's fiancé; a woman similarly engaged is called her partner's fiancée. These words are pronounced identically in English; the separate feminine form exists because of the inflectional morphology of grammatical gender in French, where the term originated.

You are his fiancee (You are the woman engaged to be married). He is your fiance. Unless i comPLETELY misinterpreted your gender, in which case, my apologies.

The gender portion of French is kind of tricky sometimes, but in general feminine people and objects have an extra "e" at the end of descriptives.

So... Hawaii, then? That'll be beautiful!

Awesome News Peggy!  Be sure to watch a few episodes of "Bridezillas" so you know what not to do from here on out!  Planning for a Hawaiian Wedding - sounds like lots of fun for you and "the boy"!
