Pinehurst Oly '09 (Page 5)

I found my legs were quite soupy on the run! haha Seriously though, very soupy air. My running shoes were actually quite wet, which is an indication of just how much I sweated on the run (I didn't dump much water on myself so it wasn't just "runoff").

This race jupmed up and B^t^h slapped me!  I felt I crawled away yelping like a little dog with his tail between his legs.  But alas, next year Pinehurst, you will be my B^t^h!  I thought about it and I don't care if i have a race the weekend before and after Pinehurst, I will race this event again and no way it will kick my like this year.

Thanks for the accurate distances for the race.  No wonder the swim took a toll on me and many others.  My back and shoulders killed by mile 2 of the run.  My first Olympic but not my last.

The same thing happened to me.  Had a good swim for 1.17 miles!  My back muscles were just killing me by mile 1 of the run.  Jogging in was all I could handle.
