I had a bee fly into my helmet while riding this morning. It stung me right on my forehead. Ouch!

OUCH!
Never had a bee in my helmet but when the Chicago area had the 17 year cicadas a couple of years ago, I had one of them fly into my helmet.  At least they don't sting, although they are large, ugly and was very loud.  I put on quite a show as I attempted to stop and get my helmet off extremely fast.

I had a really big bee like thing (felt like the size of a small bird)  bounce off my chest the other day. Scary to think of that thing near my head.

Got stung right in the quad about half way through an 11 mile run last weekend.  Hurt like a MF and to make it worse, it was RIGHT on my shorts hem line, so my shorts rubbed it with every stride!

Last summer while riding my mtn bike, I got stung by a bee.  Two weeks after, got a dragonfly stuck in my helmet.  Thinking about getting an aero helmet just for that reason.  Nevermind the aerodynamic benefits.

5 or 6 weeks a go I'm huffing at TT speed, mouth wide open, when a bee flies right in my mouth.  Spit the sucker out and she flew right off.  Color me lucky.  How nasty would a bee-stung tongue be?

I got stung be a bee when I was bike commuting in February.  It was still dark out as I was riding across our company's campus and then I felt a sharp sting in the side of my neck!  I was able to pull the stinger out but that sucker hurt all day long!

That stinks!  I've been lucky with bees... *knock on wood*

I got a bug in my shorts last weekend on my long ride.  It bit me once on the left side and I shook out the leg on my shorts and figured I was fine.  Then I went to get on my bike and it bit me on the right side.  Needless to say - the bike got dropped and I'm on the side of the road with my shorts around my knees trying to find it.  *sigh*

I don't know if it was a bee, but I got stung by something on the back of my throat on one ride.  That was rather unkind.  I guess you are supposed to chomp them with your teeth to avoid getting stung, but he just flew straight in and bam.  I am glad I am not allergic.

Just today, coming down a hill at 39 MPH and my jersy unzipped I felt something hit my chest. I thought, "I hope that wasn't a bee". A second later it got me.

I wanted so bad to smack the stupid thing, but at that speed it may have resulted in a crash.
