I finished August at 272lbs. I would dearly like to get to 260lbs by Setp 30. Here's hoping...

I am mostly made up of blubber and no one really wants to see that.  'Preciate the thought though.

First day of spring down here but still way too cold, my blubber will remain under woolies for a few weeks yet.

Goodbye, summer (sniffle). When I did my workout this am in the dark with Orion overhead, I realized that I have 9 long, cold months of workouts in the dark to look forward to . . .

hi y'all. I want to join in the fun.  I don't want to do the sugarless challenge, as that it just led me to eating other bad stuff.  Whats the rules?  do you have a weekly weight posting?

Sigh, me too. I didn't make my goal last month, but I'll set a new goal anyway. I want to get to 167 by the end of September.

Thanks for this thread, saling. This is the most food/exercise conscious I've been in months.

Here's to a great September, everyone!

I'm in NJ, I just get up really early to exercise - in part out of necessity (my dh leaves for work at 5:45, so I have to be home by then), and in part out of preference (once I got used to the eerie emptiness of the streets, it's very peaceful).

Hey saling!

I really did take a vacation from this thread all month long, apparently...

Right now I'm either 145 or 146 (I have been alternating between those 2 numbers for 4 days now), so let's split the difference and call it 145.5.  I'd like to be down to 140 by the end of September.

You can pull me out.

After month's of meticulously keeping track of calories and busting my , I give up.  I'm going to eat what I want.

The way I see it, if I'm not losing the weight there's no need to put myself though being hungry all day long.  Better to be fat and happy then fat and miserable.

I went to the gym today because of all the smoke in the air.  I figured that as long as I would there, I would get my fat percentage calculated using the calipers because I have two scales in the house that give me very different fat percentage numbers.  Well, alas, it was 33% - just what my one scale has been saying for absolutely forever.

The kid trainer says to me, "That's a little on the high side."  I say, "Yeah, I need more running and more a lot of things."  The kid trainer pauses and says, "Less eating and more running."  That was a little blunt, but the truth sometimes is.

Here's to less eating and more running.

losta - 2009-09-01 9:34 AM I'm interested too. How does it work?

We set monthly goals and weigh in on Wed's.  This "Team" has been going about 3 years with ever changing Teamies so welcome to the fun.  Any questions about Tri's or eating or whatever just ask away.

Ok. I'll give it a go. I did a weigh in today, but I try to weigh in as least as possible. I'm down over 35 lbs. since I started my tri training April 13th. I just started logging my food last week on sparkpeople.com Do I have to give my weight or how much I want to lose and monthly goal?
Thanks

Hello skinny team.  I'm in.  I have no vacations to interrupt my dieting this month.  I weigh 195.8 today.  My goal is to break 190 by the end of the month.  My overall goal is to get down to 160-170.

Losta - Give your weight and goal for the end of the month.  Next Wednesday, you will give your weightloss for the week.

Good luck everyone!!

Just thought I would state my official goal for the month. I started off at the end of August at 148, and am looking for 145 by the end of the month.

X2 - Don't give up! Give us some details on what you've been doing - maybe somebody can offer some suggestions or advice. I suspect if you are hungry all day long, maybe you've been restricting your calories TOO much!

Hello Teammies,

I'm back from Wales and ready to conquer my weight loss. I went to my first WW meeting- it wasn't as bad as I thought- she was trying to be motivational and told us two "personal stories" but if that's gonna help me get rid of a few kilos than that's fine. Will be starting my gym in the next few days with a specific toning plan and hope to get back into the pool in the next few weeks. So, it seems that the only person who can ruin it all is myself and unfortunately I am talented when it comes to it- well, we'll see.

So starting weight for September: 74kg
Goal for September: 71,5kg

Have a good day Everyone!
