Wide fit women's cycling shoes?

Buy men's shoes...that's what I wear. I have men's wide cycling shoes for both my tri/road bikes and my MTB shoes for cyclocross....I have Shimano. I wear size 40 cycling shoes.

x2 on the men's shoes...i wear mens' cycling and running shoes.

I love my women's Northwave Velvet SBS road shoes. I needed a shoe with a wide toe box, but a narrower heel...and this shoe fits the bill perfectly. Men's cycling shoes here too. I have both Specialized and SIDI. SIDI makes most of their men's shoes in Mega versions which are wide but I have found the normal men's size works for me.

Mens shoes here as well.... in both cycle and running shoes. The regular ones were wide enough and I didn't have to up it to Megas... Mine are Sidi Genius I think.

Good to hear that men's seem to work well.  I would love to try men's shoes for running, but it seems they start at sizes that are too big for me.  I fit best in a women's 8-8.5D.  Unfortunately the running shoe manufacturers don't often start their men's sizing small enough for my foot.

I wear the SIDI men's ZETA MEGAs. 

I wear women's 8.5 and men's 7. My Newtons they make in 6.5. I ordered them from Tri Sports who normally doesn't carry my size but did special order them from Newton. Buying them from Tri Sports I save 15% and pay no shipping or tax. I've worn same shoes for 2.5 years so knew what size worked for me.

I think running shoe mfg make men's size shoes to fit us but often stores don't carry them.

We live in MA and there is a huge New Balance outlet store that carries every size shoe. If you could find someplace like that near you I think you could find a good fit.

Have you tried online?  Road Runner Sports carries a lot of running shoes in a men's 7.  They have a pretty generous return policy, too. 

How much wider are the Sidi Mega's than a regular men's shoe?

I'm already in men's shoes (Shimano's) and they are not wide enough.  Feel comfy but after two hours my morton's neuroma acts up and it's all over.  So I would really like to try to find something slightly wider out there.

The thing I hate is that all the Mega's I'm finding online have that stupid microadjust thing.  Doesn't work so well for fast transitions!

Sidi does make a zephyr mega which is 3 straps (no micro adjust). I have the regular mens width. The mega may be hard to find in the smaller mens sizes but according to sidisports.com they do make them. Zeta is their tri shoe, I'm not sure if there is a mega version.

I will have to check those out.  I'm pretty sure I wear a 40 (though, looking at all these size charts maybe I could go to 41???) so I am guessing I would be able to find some.  I'll probably try to find a bike shop to try them on in...if not I'll order a pair online somewhere.  I love my Shimano's, but I can't ride comfortably past 2 hours...which is a problem!

There are many wide fitting shoes for a woman specially in running shoes . You don;t have to stick into the mens shoes because there are wide fitting shoes for a narrow feet like you . Check this sites for more info  Webstershoes
