So perhaps I should have stuck this in the health related forum, but I wanted to thank as many of you as I could and I reckon this is the most popular forum.

I got the results back on some blood work I had done last week.  The nurse practitioner called to say that my Doc would call ASAP with the details but he had wanted her to call and say that all was normal but especially my cholesterol levels - they had gone way done.  My cholesterol was becoming a problem last year, and we had decided to try and deal with it with diet and exercise first.

Pretty good holiday present actually.  And also the best "victory" I could have as a result of triathlon training and racing, IMO.  So I have to thank all you guys for all the tips and inspiration that I've found here.  It's been awesome, and it's appreciated.

Happy Holidays.

That is great!!! Congrats and keep up the good work!

One more victory for diet, exercise and hard work vs. popping a pill!

Congrats... good to hear confirmation that this lifestyle is good for you.

Have to say though, I came to this thread, because I thought somebody might have got popped for doping.

Outstanding work, young man.  Wunderbar.

Think of all the additional time that you are buying with your loved ones by spending a little doing the work now.

Yeah.  An example of real health care reform, taking care of yourself and doing the right things right.  Keep it up!!!

(note, don't everyone go political on me, it wasn't meant that way)

Whoa, "blood work" and "positive" are scary words in the same sentence. I'm glad this wasn't the case for you.
