Any idea why I get random "odd characters" in some of my posts, logs, and inspires when using Safari? Also, I do not have any of the "style formatting options" above the message box.Is this an incompatible issue or something with a quick fix? Also, there will probably be run-ons and no 'breaks' in this post b/c of the formatting too...Anything I can do?

Use Firefox - new version 3.6 - no issues what so ever, plus I believe it is just faster

The random characters I haven't seen. Here are some possible causes and solutions.

As to the formatting options not showing, it's a Safari/Chrome thing.  Usually if you type Ctrl/F5 it will take care of it. We have some ideas on how to prevent it, but no solutions just yet.

marma, your link is busted for some reason.

I'll try the CTRL+F5 and see if that helps.

Thanks so far!

I also use Safari (MacOSX 10.6.2) and get weird random characters but also upon refresh in my logs have disappearing titles

I get the same thing with the formatting options box disappearing.  My solution is to wait for the page to load and then click the reload arrow in the web address bar.  It's worked every time for me, but I have an older ibook so maybe you're version won't work the same way.

Hello,

I tried tweaking Safari to work well with BT but just couldn't.

For BT I've switched over to Firefox. Much better combo.

I have all of the above problems with my macbook pro. I just hit refresh and it seems to take care of it.

Another Safari problem I have is not being able to hit reply in an inspire.  Just doesn't work.

I have also had problems with Firefox on my Mac when using BT.  Often won't save and I have to copy stuff, completely get out of Firefox and start over.  Seems to be an issue with how long it takes to type and save - both in my own blog/log or in inspires.
