Comments:

perfect race. This was my dream race :) I felt good the whole time, never crashed. I did try a Vespa before this ( maybe it "worked"). Perhaps this was such a good race because I went into it not knowing what to expect at all. I saw so many people I knew out there! I saw Dave Baril mile 2ish, though it took me a few minutes to realize who it was, as well as tons of San diego running friends. OO, this is why I love running.
What would you do differently?:

nothing! I decided yesteray to run this as a training run ( the lady I was going to buy a bib from bailed, so I called a man up about his full bib), but was feeling ok so gave sub. 4 a shot. I wore a bandana around my neck ( zombie runner brand). LOVED this, kept me cool throughout the whole race.
Post race
Warm down:

jogged/walked after the race.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

taper ( maybe!?)

Event comments:

only complaint was that the half marathoners joined us for the last 5 miles. I had a lot of juice in me and too much energy was spent weaving through walkers! It was frustrating.... Other than that, the volunteers were great. Having an aid station every mile made me :)

Course: rolley polley. Good climb from mile 6-9, but the hills didn't beat me up as much as I thought! I did negative splits on a marathon. YAY!!!! I kept expecting to hit the wall ( mile 21-25). Even the last .2, I remember thinking " holy moly, I'm gonna sub. 4, don't fall girl, whtever you do."

Nice job.  17 minutes is awesome amount of time to take off your time.  Keep up the good work.
